A quick link…

Here’s a link to Stacey’s blog on what I had said in my previous entry pertaining to chicanery in hoaxing particularly this pic…

Here’s another gem posted last week…  so obvious that this is a costume of some sort, or a really bad pair of pajamas

Another gem found on Facebook of an alleged Bigfoot on trail cam. (Source: Facebook)

There seems to be a current trend of folks going onto Facebook in Crypto, Paranormal and Bigfoot groups which after a very brief period of time, offer up some recent “evidence.”

Hoaxers at best, trolls at worst, both dishonest nonetheless. Groups will be busy blocking these knuckleheads for some time.

All we can do is fight the good fight and not to become complacent nor apathetic to submitted evidence.

“All evidence should and must be researched

with veracity to sift out the gold from the dirt.”

Till Next Time,

Too often lately I have seen far too much hoaxing. For the longest time it was YouTube video hoaxes. They became so dominant after a while, some in the research field do not even glance at YouTube for potential video evidence any longer.

But the new rage lately it seems to me, has been Facebook hoaxers. Look at this fine example just posted by a Facebook user June 19th, 2015, found on one of the Social network group pages.

This was quickly brought to a screeching halt by a couple of users, particularly my friend Randy Filipovic who correctly recognized this as a manipulation of one of the Sequoia photos.

The originals are also thought to be a hoax created by up and coming filmmaker about ten years ago.

The original poster attempted to change his tune, to the old, “That’s what it looked like,” crap, but then why the manipulations added to it? Hogwash, the person was called out.

But if you think it is commonplace to Cryptozoology, my better half, and Co-Founder / Director of the Extreme Paranormal Encounter Response Team, Stacey Horton found this gem posted on one of her group pages.

Well I must be rubbing off on her, because within minutes she debunked this photo by this hoaxer by discovering a ghost app which uses this little boy.

Of course the “ghost” had been manipulated a bit, in this case the image was reversed, and added to the kitty’s pic.

Like everything on the web, it is caveat emptor! I always live by the trust, but verify mantra. I often tell folks that submit material, do not take offense to the rigid testing or questioning if they submit evidence. If everything passes it can only bolster and enhance their claim.

Till next time,

Update: 7/28/2013

Well it’s been a couple of weeks since last posting. I decided a little me time was necessary and time to “right the ship” so to speak.

Squatchdetective Radio, will return shortly, as I have been working on a new center, and will be complete by October. Currently working on arrangements to continue the show with our great friends over at CyberstationUSA.com .

The Squatchdetective.com Field Team has been completely revamped. We have parted company with Tri-City NY Paranormal Society and the New York Bigfoot Society. The latter was going in a direction in which was very different to ours and thought it was best to part ways.

Of course I am still proud to be associated with NESRA and the ABS.

That being said, this concept was slowly in progress prior to our association with Tri-City, and now is the time to roll such out.

A new team within the last couple of days has been formed, and it is a much larger, more diverse contingent than we’ve had previously.

We have an advisory panel of seven great folks that will lend their eyes, ears and analysis of our evidence prior to release. Team members and advisors will be announced on a new team page we will be adding to Squatchdetective.com.

We also have two team members which will serve as our Wildlife Biology consultants.

Part of the new team in June 2013 on a scout mission.

That being said, we will announce today two positions that have been long overdue.

First is Gary Laviolette who has been acting as an ad-hoc Assistant Director since 2006 and now assumes the title.

Stacey Horton, who was previously with the original field team, now takes the roll of Squatchdetective.com’s Case Manager as well as taking an active field roll.

In the upcoming months we have numerous plans in motion, so it should be an exciting season.

Till Next Time,
