Sad note today…

I was informed today and confirmed that Dan Gordon has passed away. Dan was the kind of guy that was always positive and was dedicated to speaking about his encounter while employed as a Police Officer in the town of Whitehall.

I enjoyed Dan’s company and he will be sorely missed.

My sincerest condolences and prayers to his close friends and family, especially Scooter and Melissa who’ve I came to know.

Welcome to the Club Cliff!

According to the Bigfoot Evidence Blog, Cliff Barackman from Finding Bigfoot has been having an email flap over a crew member getting in the shot. People seem to think it’s a Bigfoot quite frequently emailing him about it.

FBSnip

Snip in which people think there’s a Bigfoot strolling in the background.

Cliff  had this to say on his blog on his website at:

http://cliffbarackman.com/faqs/theres-something-behind-you-or-another-cast-member-in-a-finding-bigfoot-episode/

“That’s a lot of people out there making the episodes happen.  With that many folks around, it’s almost inevitable that every once in a while one of them accidentally gets caught on camera in the wrong place at the wrong time.  It doesn’t help that when there is an interview of a cast member being filmed (when one of us looks towards the camera and they edit in snippets of what we say along with the action), there is usually another cast member being interviewed not far away.  The crew members are often running tapes, batteries, water, and other things to various locations, and sometimes wander into frame while the camera is rolling…

…So, if you catch a glimpse of an upright figure in the woods behind one of us in the woods during an episode of Finding Bigfoot, good for you.  You clearly have a great eye.  However, it is almost positively another member of the extended Finding Bigfoot family. “

Like wise I have been receiving emails since 2008, even seen a YouTube Video of the clip analyzing my final interview in MonsterQuest on the History Channel.

I just received a couple this past weekend as the episode aired again on one of the History Channel’s this weekend.

The figure on my clip walking from right to left.

In these circumstances, the “talent” as they call us, or the crew, are best suited to answer the questions of validity. In this case my shot was filmed in front of  a trail leading to our base camp. The clip, in actuality, was filmed before the expedition. It was day one and we were also setting up base camp which was to the right of the frame.

The other thing is…I recognize just from the “shuffle” (okay..okay stumble) just whom the researcher is. In fact, that same researcher rode shotgun with me to the East Coast Bigfoot Conference outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. in late 2011.

I kind of chuckle when some (and a mean one or two) try to insist it’s a Sasquatch by insisting I am wrong or by asking me, “Am I sure?” or that, “How can you be sure, they (Sasquatch) are extremely sneaky and quiet.”

Well I can state this:

“How am I so sure?

I can tell you the time of day, the exact location and what was going on at the time of the interview, how long I sat for the interview, what I was sitting on, and despite it being six years ago, I probably can get the exact date for ya as well.

How am I so sure??? ?…. I WAS THERE!!!

I can definitely state that the people that question me, ‘Am I sure?’ and want to argue, were not there.”

Education Spotlight: How do hoaxer’s respond?

Without making judgment of anyone or anything. For those who sit back and watch, here’s a little scale to use when you are the audience.

Over my many years of debunking hoaxes, have observed a pattern in how hoaxers respond to their debunking, and it does vary by motive.

It should give the audience a good read on how one reacts when confronted with a hoaxing accusation as to where perhaps may lie the truth…

  • The one’s who are the jokers tend to be the one’s who say, “Okay…Okay…Ya got me.”
  • The one’s who are in it because of psychosis, tend to ignore it and disappear.
  • The one’s who get caught pretty quick disappear in like style.
  • The one’s who get caught and are deep in, that do not have sociopathic tendencies, bite back very little but maintain their stories like Todd Standing, Cliff Crook, Dave Shealy, Ivan Marx and tend to just plod along as if nothing is going on in  their own world.

Now the final group is the hoaxer’s with sociopathic tendencies. These are the folks that generally have a profit motive in mind when it comes to their hoax.

We have seen these traits consistently over the last ten years between Biscardi, Dyer and from Linda Newton-Perry.

  • Throw around insults, attack the debunker. (All of the above)
  • Claims of jealousy. (RD, Biscardi)
  • Claims of accuser “riding coattails” (RD- Biscardi)
  • Reflection against people on the other side of the debate. (RD)
  • Calling the debunker and supporters, “haters.” (RD)
  • Providing very little in new information to refute debunking. (All of the above)
  • Pointing out that “experts” have looked at evidence and believe in it, however “experts” are unnamed. (Biscardi – Dyer – LNP)
  • Ego stroking. (“I am the best Bigfoot Tracker in the world – RD”)
  • The true sociopathic tendency of “self victimization.” “ I am the hero here and these haters just keep picking on me, because they are jealous, and they want to be me…” (Yep we’ve heard this before. RD has said this numerous times)

While one of these on their own is not indicative of where the truth lies, the more of the above that appears on the responders checklist, the less likelihood the truth is on their side, due the fact is that the above is the equivalent of the sociopath survival guide.

What one must understand, is the “Long Termed” hoaxers are most likely sociopaths.

Here’s a excerpt from a great article by Mike Adams of the Natural News which backs up what I am saying.

“Sociopaths are masters are presenting themselves as heroes with high morals and philosophy, yet underneath it they are the true criminal minds in society who steal, undermine, deceive, and often incite emotional chaos among entire communities. They are masters at turning one group of people against another group while proclaiming themselves to be the one true savior. Wherever they go, they create strife, argument and hatred, yet they utterly fail to see their own role in creating it…

…One simple method for dispelling sociopathic delusion is to start fact checking their claims. Do any of their claims actually check out? If you start digging, you will usually find a pattern of frequent inconsistencies.

Confront the suspected sociopath with an inconsistency and see what happens:

Most sociopaths will become angry or aggressive when their integrity is questioned, whereas a sane person would simply be happy to help clear up any misinformation or misunderstanding.

Another very valuable red flag to recognize when trying to spot a sociopath is to see how they deal with attacks on their own integrity. If a sociopath is presented with a collection of facts, documents and evidence showing that he lied or deceived, he will refuse to address the evidence and, instead, attack the messenger!

If you really try to nail a sociopath down to answering a documented allegation, they will quickly turn on you, denounce you…

(And particular to RD)…Anyone who does not fall for the brainwashing of the sociopath is sooner or later kicked out of the circle and then wildly disparaged by the remaining members of the cult group.”
