Peeping Bigfoot Part II

Yesterday, I announced the sad and the shocking truth, here about the “Peeping Bigfoot” and why with looking at Yeoman’s background why his story was a fabrication.

To recap quickly:

  1. He doesn’t live nor possess land in Bailey, Colorado or Park County, CO.
  2. He wife passed away in 2012 and he hasn’t remarried, so how was his wife in the story?
  3. He is not allowed to possess a firearm in Colorado, due to being a convicted felon.

There were other things of his story that didn’t jive from an investigator’s standpoint.

  1. Why didn’t he call his wife in at the onset of the incident?
  2. Convenient to have a camcorder sitting next to you in your living room, fully charged and ready to go.
  3. Convenient that the original file was destroyed in a fire, but the pictures of the computer screen somehow survived. Details of the fire were vague.
  4. Why wait almost 3 years to reveal this information?
  5. Why didn’t he name the correct Sheriff’s Department? He just stated the sheriff.

A tell to investigators that something is wrong with a story is how some elements of an account are very detailed and some very vague, especially when it comes to verifiable information. I have seen this hundreds of times.

I did locate his actual Colorado residence located in Golden, CO and it was in a pretty congested neighborhood. (Remember I said, this whole revelation was discovered by trying to properly file a FOIL request to the Park County Sheriff’s Office by obtaining a workable address.) That led to the discovery of his real name, Jonathan Scott Yeoman and a social media scrub tying him to Kokomo, IN (Howard County) which in turn led to the discovery of his arrest in Howard County Indiana. His actual residence in Colorado is in Jefferson County and has a history there confirmed by a 2008 arrest in Jefferson County for harassment.

Residence Overhead

Again this is not a judge of his character in the sense that he had been previously convicted of a felony. As you can see all of the red flags in the story itself.

It would not be uncommon for a convicted sex offender to alter their name a bit because of the stigma attached, to their crime so Jonathan Scott Yeoman became Scott Yeoman publicly. I believe in some part, I am sure, so people do not easily connect the dots to his past convictions. That all from an investigator’s standpoint makes perfect sense.

The response

The response amongst the community was mixed. For some it was shock, for some it was more of the same; another hoax, believers turned. A couple held out until they were shown some of the things I discovered in more detail, quelling any doubts. But I did hear one story that made me shake my head and laugh.

“ ‘So and so’ believes the story was made up but the pictures are real.” – Anonymous

Well I knew there would be a few holdouts believing that. Despite my astonishment that someone would be that naïve, let me point out a few of flaws in that.

  1. Fruit of the poisonous tree. – Once a fabrication is revealed how can you trust any of this person’s evidence going forward? You cannot.
  2. Motive. There is no valid one.

Let’s look at motive in a couple of aspects of why someone would fabricate a story.

  1. To protect the creature? Well this doesn’t work here, why not just keep your mouth shut? It’s been almost 3 years. And why would you be alluding to the creatures currently on your land in social media posts?
  2. To protect a person or other witnesses? Again why open your mouth? Why allude that they are on your property? You are drawing people in so that defies anything allegedly to protect anyone.

The missing piece: How was it done?

One question that kept prevailing, how did he do it? Well in investigation you don’t always get every single element of a crime. You may not get the stolen money recovered, or the murder weapon, or a motive, heck some murders you don’t even have a body!

But I can state my hypothesis based on some of the intelligence gathered now that we know Yeoman’s Colorado residence.

In my opinion this was a person in a mask or costume, and was shot with a video camera, like Yeoman states and photos were taken of the video on a computer screen. In doing what I do for a living I have seen plenty of taking photos from a phone of video surveillance to get into the of officers for a BOLO (Be on the lookout). So upon inspection of the pictures I concur.

The pictures may have only been released via social media and not directly sent to anyone as to mask any metadata on the pictures.  However in thinking of such, I give far too much credit to Yeoman for this. Given his background this may have been the only reason for him to distribute the photos.

That being said, I believe we are getting photos only because the video would prove this was a hoax by showing details Yeoman did not want people to say. He would simply counter any request of the video with they were destroyed in a fire.

However the photos provided do show an anomaly which I have identified as natural lighting source from a neighbor’s house, likely a patio given the vertical size of the light. The blurring of the light in one of the photos confirms to me this was a video.

Using Yeoman’s actual residence we can see the potential source of the light in the photos.

Diagram 1

A representation using the submitter’s residence of how the video was shot. Line of sight may be off by several feet,

I think that sums that up pretty well.

Potential motive

I have thought long an hard on this one. As an investigator I do not want to think that given this man’s past this was for nefarious reasons, and that’s why for the most part I needed to get over my own shock of the matter.

I have stated in the past the need for a socially isolated person’s need to belong to something. And that something has to usually be done in a grand way. Loneliness can play with the mind, as we are all personally facing in this time of pandemic. But if our social circles are small and in some cases spatially distant, as we have seen with Yeoman and we see a man, likely condemned by his past, probably just trying to belong somewhere and he saw this hoax as an “in.”

Not for money, not for nefarious reasons, just lonely, bored and isolated.

We will be doing a full take on this, this Sunday, 9PM Eastern on Squatch-D TV catch us there to join the conversation.

Old Stories from a hoax site continue to plague the noobs

Yes here we are again talking about Linda Newton-Perry’s Bigfoot Ballyhoo. The woman who refuses to see any side other than her mostly phony stories on Bigfoot on her website.

Let’s start with the Miller Document. Well we wrote something on the Miller document sometime ago here: https://squatchdetective.wordpress.com/2015/11/07/the-hoax-fest-begins/.

HA Miller

Yes we know the HA Miller, the alleged writer of the document was not the gentleman pictured above because the document, is dubious. Why is it dubious? Where is the actual document other than what is printed on a site know for its hoaxes and other unverified claims?

Here’s the big highlights:

  • H.A. Miller MD, Ph.D existed. But the one suggested graduated Forestry and Med School long before 1930.

Now on to Jerry Lustin:

Hello, I’m Jerry Lustin and was among the guys who found the giant creature in November of 1962. Bill emery has asked me to write a short comment on this site. I have never wrote anything in my life so bare with me.

This should say it all…. we found this at: http://www.pbase.com/image/63671108 and it was uploaded in July, 2006.

buzzy

Oh and by the way, the person her site is dedicated to… “The late Dale Saxton,” you know the logger?

dale 2

Well he was there too in the album with Buzzy’s picture, except, this guy is a fisherman, and in the background (which is blurred on LNP’s pics and reversed) you can see the Salmon Charter schedule.

Now what makes me bring up this babble once again, because some the noobs, perhaps trying to make their mark, by exposing this “ground breaking” material, again have brought attention to this garbage, without questioning. Without, cross checking sources.

I challenge anyone to crosscheck this source of the Miller Document, Jerry Lustin, Dale Saxton, the ESP Team, Big Clyde (another Newton-Perry hoax) that originates from a source other than Perry’s Bigfoot Ballyhoo Blog.

In truth she is more of a serial hoaxer than Rick Dyer albeit far less cunning. I can’t keep count at this point.

Sasquatch Ontario

People over the years have asked me the validity of the YouTuber by the name of Sasquatch Ontario, run by a Mike Patterson.

I have never really investigated their claims or audio, but I was dubious of what I heard.

Seems that over the last couple of years information has finally surfaced to firmly put Sasquatch Ontario into the hoaxer category.

Of course now its a government conspiracy and Bigfoot is an alien..yadda yadda.

This says it all:

SasOnt3

                 SasOnt4SasOnt6

And Darryl did provide a sample of that voice, and we played it last week on Squatchdetective Radio. (3/11/18). Case closed, no matter what Patterson has to say now.

And on a positive note:

Spoke with an eyewitness last week about a good visual sighting while driving. Sent some team members out who agreed seems very credible. Soon as the soon cover gets to going, we’ll be on it!

Till Next Time,

Once again I pop over to the site where EVERYTHING has been just about disputed, Bigfoot Ballyhoo. I hadn’t been there in some time because the blog author, Linda Newton-Perry stated she was hanging it up.

But as we have repeatedly shown, some tend to come back…and here she is again. Again sticking by all these stories proven to be made up on her “blog.”

For the site’s brief history, you can read about it here.

Linda Newton-Perry again in her penchant for putting “alleged” (and by alleged I mean phony) Bigfoot stories on her blog to support the Bigfoot mystery again falls short.

In the latest, she is still supporting the PROVEN phony Bill Emery by supplying us with this gem on her site. This gem appeared last October.

Here’s the text of this so called encounter,

Jerry Lustin has left a new comment on your post "Bill Emery comments on 1962 Bones":

Hello, I’m Jerry Lustin and was among the guys who found the giant creature in November of 1962. Bill emery has asked me to write a short comment on this site. I have never wrote anything in my life so bare with me.

It was in the early hours of November 9th when me and several other men were working the Dew Ridge area clearing wind falls from the roads in the area. If memory serves me it was 8:30 am or so when we saw what we thought to be a dead bear under a big old growth tree on Dew. As we approached the bear it became plain to us that it was not a bear.
The animal was something in between ape and human in looks only larger than any thing I’ve seen ever before or since. The animal was laying under the tree face down and dead. We all looked at it and to our surprise this animal had hands and feet not paws. It was covered in a short crop of black hair and obviously not anything ever seen by us before.

We needed a forest service foreman to come to the site right away to look at it because, we were not to remove any fatalities from wind storm damage trees without forest service being on site. We had well understood protocol to go through in case we came across a car with people in it under a tree. Ranger Guy Adams from Cave Junction arrived and took photos from both sides of the tree. Then more people came up to do the same. As the site filled with forest service and unknown people we were directed to cut a 10 section out above the creature for removal.

It was after we removed the tree off the animal that they got branch poles out and turned the animal over onto its back. The animal’s eyes ware open and dried blood was all over the mouth and ears of the animal. The eyes were black in color. Teeth were jagged and yellowish. It had breasts on it like a female only dropped and small in shape. It was female of course. Everybody was told to stay away from the animal at this point. By noon a truck had showed up and they used block and tackle to pick the animal up and swing it into the back of the flatbed.

At that point the big wig from Medford came and they told us to leave that road and go to Glary Creek some 5 mile away to work for the rest of the week. They started acting like squirrels to many of us, nervous and snappy. It was three days later when Guy told us that animal was a ape escaped from a home in O’Brien. We knew it was bull, because who keeps a 8 ft ape for a pet. We knew when we uncovered the animal, it wasn’t no ape. We didn’t know about bigfoot then but thought it was some kind of wild man-gal.

For some time after many stories came out on the animal as to what it was. My brother- in- law took 3 pictures of it and I hope to give copies to Emery if Stan can locate them.

                                                          Oct. 20th, 2016 Bigfoot Ballyhoo

Once again LNP has this picture which raised a flag to me knowing her modus operandi in the past to have photo’s mislabeled, misidentified to make the reader believe they are something they are not.

It didn’t take very long for me to find the original picture here.

The caption under the photo…

With the real people identified in the picture, we learned that the picture had been placed on PBase at the latest on July 14th, 2006 and we know Buzzy’s Greenwater Café closed in 2008. (Source: Small Towns Newspaper Service)

In fact here’s a picture of Buzzy circa 2008…

But here’s where the fun begins. We go back to LNP’s researcher that started it all, “Dale Saxton.”

dedication

I took a look at the rest of the thumbnails and BANG… there’s “Dale Saxton” the logger who was the inspiration of the “ESP Team.” We also found another picture of Buzzy Franklin.

Fisherman

But the person pictured is not a logger like Ballyhoo and LNP had claimed, but a fisherman running salmon charters.  This picture was uploaded to PBase on July 14th, 2006, long before Ballyhoo was even a thought and can be found here.

LNP likes to use an article title of “It’s a matter of time.” You’re right Linda!!!

It’s a matter of time before we find the now changed pictures of the ESP Team, since we exposed the last set. And a matter of time before we find “Cole’s” pictures too!!!

Till Next Time,

Squatch-D

Here’s a 411 for all you Facebook users. A guy by the name of Keem Missouri has been making the rounds since January, posting videos, saying how real they are.

He was recently snagged on a Facebook group where he claimed this photo was his.

1011190_264240837050367_2025662371_n

Enhanced still of the 1996 Memorial Day footage, claimed by the hoaxer he had just taken it 9 weeks ago.

Of course the group called him out on it after asking several questions where he verified the picture was his. When confronted, he said oops and said the group had misunderstood.

576756_109556912518761_405901684_n

20 year old Hoaxer, “Keem Missouri”

Okay…if we give him the benefit of the doubt on that one…

HOW ABOUT THIS ONE!

On February 24th, 2013 he tried passing this picture of a hair sample claiming it was his…

Keem1

What he actually tried to pass off as his, was in actuality a hair sample found several years ago, referred to as the “Teslin Sasquatch” Hair Sample, subsequently tested by David Coltman.

Here’s a Cryptomundo article from July, 2008 about the sample and Coltman.

Hair1

“In July 2005, the discovery of a strand of Sasquatch hair near Teslin, Yukon, followed a series of sightings that got a lot of press attention. The anticipation of the DNA tests on the hair became high drama in the media. David Coltman, a geneticist at the University of Alberta, finally determined that the sample was from the hair of a bison, not a higher primate, such as a Bigfoot.”

                                                                             -  Loren Coleman on Cryptomundo, 7/17/08

Not even a good hoaxer. So all my Bigfooting friends on Facebook, if you see him on your friends list, give him the boot and block him!!!

Till Next Time,

Squatch-D

Is it okay to teach young scouts to make fun or lie?  Would this person be laughing at a spoof of scout masters poking fun at some of their bad apples alleged crimes?

We think not.

Capture2

The site also implies it is okay to hunt, a species that if proven to exist would be placed on an endangered or protected list.

I came across this gem today, SasquatchHunt.com, in which it appears to be a serious site, with a lot of baloney information on it, until in some points you dig deeper and realize the insult.

Kautz

Paul Kautz pictured here, runs the hoax – spoof site SaquatchHunt.com

The site is run by a Scout Master from Eden Prairie, Minnesota by the name of Paul Kautz, and we find his actions, including a phony Fish and Game application, which asks for people’s personal information,  definitely not “Scout Masterly.”

Kautz thinks it funny, but not many people know the “Munster’s home address” listed on the application.

First of all it is not very apparent at first that it is a spoof site.

Second, it contains videos of people stating their alleged encounters, lending to the realism and confusion of the site’s purpose.

Finally, it contains some bad misnomers for the general public such as the Paterson/Gimlin film being the first well documented sighting of a Sasquatch.

Perhaps a future Hall of Shamer coming.

Till Next Time,

Squatch-D
