Hi gang. Yes it’s been awhile but for much good reason. No… I haven’t taken time off per se, but have been busy setting up the new office, overall a pretty big move and much more, prepping for the upcoming 2014 season. The Office stands currently at about 45% complete but is operational.

There’s also some more, “behind the scenes” doings, but that may come out in time and all is very good stuff.

Let’s get the bad stuff out of the way first, but even that is good news so to speak…

Dummy Tour Busted, Broke and Done… The Obituary

Board Room

Citing personal issues, personal betrayals (yet again), a conspiracy (replacing his “body” with a fake dummy), and lack of profitability, what we affectionately call the “Dummy Tour 2014” has seem to have been stalled out for at least 90 days.

This all began a couple of weeks ago, when rumors abounded about several things.

First while in Arizona, nobody wanted the “exhibit,” nor did New Mexico. While in Texas, Dyer was supposed to have shown his Bigfoot “documentary,” after his exhibit and Q&A. That would have been p[particularly nice especially since some people who paid to get the DVD have yet to receive it.

However what he ended up showing was the 1980’s comedy “Harry and the Henderson’s.”  Technically that may have been in violation of Federal Law.

Despite Dyer’s claims of being “sold out everywhere,” it seems he was either spending too much or his numbers were, as we suspect and proven here before, a bit inflated.

There were also unconfirmed rumors he got punched in the puss by someone as well. Again that was unconfirmed. We have Lindsay’s sources saying that someone tore the lid off the box. (I don’t trust Lindsay’s sources at all, after all they were the ones stating how real this was.)

Then we have Dyer marketing dude, Andrew Clacy departing the scene and flying back to Australia, where on his Facebook page, it’s as if Rick Dyer never existed anymore. Thing is, Dyer is looking for a new marketing dude, at least that’s what he’s saying.

Then we had his Florida detour, which seemed to be the last hurrah for the failing tour. “But alas poor Yurick,” we now have the “Blue Light Special,” on Bigfoot dummy exhibits, marked down from $20 to $10 and then finally, pitifully to $5.

And while all this was going on, Dyer, “Lily Dyer,” his babies’ momma, better known as Rosa Contreras Guilbert was dealing with and eviction process back in Las Vegas.

As I have said before, the fall of a sociopath is going to be hard and painful, and the hoax will be a big part of his undoing. Just read this blog from our good friend, Racer-X and you will see the world crumbling under this pathetic individuals feet. Broke, busted, evicted, with family troubles. Don’t feel too sorry. Yet I have no sympathy, he can sell the RV, the trailer…etc.

It seems as though people whom were the “die hard” Dyer believers, well they are starting to finally crack, some may even hold even a little glimmer of hope. Maybe even about the “Camper Video.” But remember we reported it here a year and a half ago, just prior to that video, Dyer purchased a bunch of professional video equipment, so caveat emptor on that. And given the man’s actions, even if it had been real, which it is not, it would have been worthless in value.

We haven’t been wrong thus far yet as to the reality of Dyer having evidence.

This is a sad, sad saga, but I am finally glad to see it come to an end. While it did provide us insight to some whom we saw as authorities, become so fully invested in Dyer’s scandalous behavior, that they became tunnel-visioned unable to see an argument from the other side and apply common sense. They took hard objective data and pushed it aside for the subjective assessments often lead to by Dyer or once of his minions or “sources.”

See folks the sad thing is Dyer likes to accuse people of riding his coat tails. In reality he was riding everyone’s coat tails. He was riding on the coat tails of our good work, our good names, the name of the legend we have so hard worked to prove and for some, our gullibility’s.  He was and still is the “wanna be.”

He wanted on TV and he got that. He wanted attention, and he got that. He wanted revenge, and that quite didn’t work out like he expected.

But what he wanted most, and which he will never get, is to be proven right.

Cabela’s Weekend

As usual we were treated to a great weekend at Cabela’s in Triadelphia, West Virginia for their Strange, Unusual and Rare Sightings weekend, where there was a great speaker lineup including, Eric Altman, Billy Willard, Stan Gordon, Doug Waller, and Dr. Jeff  Meldrum. I had the honor  to be on the dais with these fine people and had the pleasure of spending the weekend with them.

Upstairs in the conference room, we all had tables and this is slowly turning into a WV Bigfoot conference. The event was totally free sponsored by our good friends at Cabela’s and special mention to our host, Bud Forte.
