Tent video is from Rick Dyer…

Well folks all the pieces have fit into a little puzzle.

The Tent video so hyped by Facebook Find Bigfoot, turns out to be a video from Ricky Dyer, and all the hoopla and fifteen minutes of fame he was hoping to get has been dashed.

Here’s some of the pieces of the puzzle. Dyer publicly via YouTube stated he was turning over BigfootTracker.com to another group on or around September 10th, 2012.

This information was passed to me by Craig Woolheater…On September 12th, 2012 his YouTube videos disappeared and suddenly ShootingSasquatch was created the same day.

The release of the video today personally attacked me and mentioned the Georgia Body Hoax.

Thanks to Carl Olinselot, and Steve Alcorn we have pictures convincing enough to reveal the connection.

As of today the domain ShootingSasquatch.com forwards to the YouTube Page.

SO this puts to rest the Tent Video saga…now on to the next one!

Tent Video EXCLUSIVE…What gives?

Facebook Find Bigfoot has posted a Q&A with the tent video owner yesterday and here’s what it had to say:

 

Yet we received a communication from ShootingSasquatch, the poster of the video of the following:

 

 

Now we are dealing with Confidentiality-NDA’s? 

More than one camera now?

The fact the original video has been altered?

One of the more interesting things I have learned as an investigator, with things that are not true, as the story unfolds it  tends to get more grandiose.

The fact that there is more than one camera, better shots, after two weeks, and some major league attention sparked by the FB/FB hype, NOW we here of more? Hmmm…

I will tell you readers, that I’m beginning  to smell something afoul here. I could be wrong, but something isn’t clicking right here about this video.

Remember a video is only as good as the story behind it. This one has given us hype behind allegedly more video.

And one of the most damning pieces of evidence, that it showed up on YouTube FIRST.

If there is a NDA, why  would you be releasing ANYTHING? On a website, answering questions for some but not others?

And it is funny how this video, is the springboard for a new website. Reminiscent of the Thomas Byers/Knobby Lives video, (See the hall of Shame for that one.)

Well the investigation continues….

Comment from Adam Bird and clarification

As we try to bring the fairest representation, we now have some clarification of the FB/FB public relations debacle that ocurred last night.

Many thought that what we going to see was not what they hyped last night. It was only rumored to be a FLIR image and FB/FB did nothing, at least in the posts preceding last night to differentiate one video from the other.

In fact, in my opinion, they used verbiage seemingly to confuse the two. On purpose or not it does not matter, it was wrong.

I’m not looking for an apology, but I’d like to see a little more responsibility, and better communication.

But the fact is, that the manner in which they announced the video, and considering it had been covered ten days earlier in another blog, it was over the top.

Yes..it is a cool video, and I want to know more about it.

But apparently the video that was hyped the week previous was not the one displayed last night, so if my use of the word “hoax,” was over the top, I apologize.

But it’s how A LOT of us felt last night. “Over hyped” may be a better term at this point now that a clarification has been made.

I call it like I see it.

But in a Facebook conversation with Adam Bird, he tells me this,

“Steve I’ve seen the video that was promised on the 10th and FBFB did not release it last night nor will it be released for a while and that is because one of the two owners do not want it released. That video is a F.L.I.R film.”

Well, we’ll wait and see if the FLIR video lives up to the wait, personally I hope so.

FB/FB states not hoax…not the video promised on the tenth.

According to sources inside FB/FB, the video promised on the tenth was not the video they released last night.

As mentioned in the previous blog entry, it was believed to be or we were led to believe it was because of the following statements,

9/10/12:

“Be patient…It will be worth the wait”

9/24/12:

“Many of you have waited for a really cool video.  It was worth the wait.”

And why mention it in this fashion, unlike many other FB/FB releases ?

Some could say it was intentionally done this way. I am not. But it could be construed that way.

If they are angered about the previous post, they have no one to blame but themselves. They painted the picture for us, so FB/FB apologize and learn from it.

As far as the previous entries, I call it like I see it. We did not call them hoaxers, we simply posed the question and let the audience decide.

That’s me, nothing I stated in the previous blogs were incorrect. We were waiting for a thermal video, and we get an I-phone video that we were told was the video we were waiting for.

Strange it is black and white, instead of color and could be construed by some originally as a thermal.

So with the statements FB/FB made, I posed the question to the viewer ship.

If FB/FB wants to accuse me of sensationalism, then what was it they did last night?
